OUR STORY

The global pandemic awoke my childhood passion for sewing and fashion design. A skill I learned from my grandfather three decades ago rushed back to life in full force during the crisis in the middle of March 2020.  At that time, I voluntarily began sewing surgical masks for hospitals in dire need for PPE and expanded the effort with many volunteers joining my “Sew For Health Initiative” resulting in production of thousands of surgical masks which we donated equitably to 28 diverse hospitals in 15 states across United States.

Once this initiative was concluded, I started thinking about you, the regular women. If we must wear masks, why not make it fashionable. Why can’t we protect ourselves and still look good?  As an answer to these questions, PRANVÉ brand was born.  The new Brand was created going back to my original roots, using the childhood nickname and “Goddess on the Throne” brand symbol that represents my heritage. 

I spent months sourcing the best materials, thinking about the best designs and how they can compliment different looks, be it street style, hipster look, edgy elegance, fun and glamour, special events, even dancing with our famous disco mirror ball mask. As a result, 70 designs were created to get all your styles covered.

Designed by woman for women, PRANVÉ masks are sewn with immaculate precision, 3D shape for easier breathing, 3-4 layers of protection, premium antibacterial cotton lining, as well as a nose wire and adjustable earloops for a secure fit and enhanced comfort. In addition, we designed mask chains to elevate your look and ensure your mask never ends up in the bottom of your bag.

I hope my story will inspire women to utilize their talents and embark in entrepreneurial journey as it’s never too late to do what you love.  PRANVÉ will donate 2% of sales revenue to Women for Women International, an organization that helps disadvantaged women across the world to learn the skills they need to become self-sustainable, rebuild their families and contribute to their communities.

Fashion masks are just a starter for PRANVÉ brand.  Very soon, other exciting products in clothing, accessories and jewelry will enrich our brand portfolio.

We’re not out of the COVID-19 tunnel yet, but we’re headed in the right direction. I hope we can go to our normal lives soon. In the meantime, stay healthy, stay safe, wear a mask and slow the spread.
